Both wooded slopes of the Luberon are separated crete by a long narrow strip of lawn. These open in a biologically rich environments are the result of altitude, wind exposure and use an ancient shepherds of the villages in the foothills. These allow grazing activity mid-season from last winter around the village and the summer where transhumance is towards the Alps.
Tip: We recommend you to go directly to the ridges back down to La Bastide-des-Jourdans: the rise will be less difficult.
