Perched between Pertuis and Lourmarin, Cadenet offers panoramic views of the Durance, the Luberon, the Sainte-Victoire and the Alpilles.
Cadenet experienced in the first half of the nineteenth century prosperity based on the development of handicrafts. Numerous workshops basketry settled, working wicker grown in the valley of the Durance.
