Castles

Renaissance or medieval, the castles in Luberon Côté Sud area are our historical heritage. They protect it, maintain it and perpetuate it !

Follow the road of the Luberon castles. Your itinerary starts with the Renaissance  castle of la Tour d'Aigues which is standing like a stage set. Its « ruin » or « relic » look hides many surprises, as around 1000 m² of underground galleries have been fitted out and house the Ceramics Museum, the Luberon Rural Habitat Museum and many temporary exhibits. Walk around its vast terrace and enjoy the view on the vineyards and further away on Mount Sainte‐Victoire.
