Historic trails

Another way to discover the Luberon Natural Regional Park is to wander along its historic trails.

Whether you like the Middle-Ages, the Renaissance, or closer to us, the Waldensians’ history, Luberon Côté Sud will make you travel through the centuries following the adventures of the people who have lived in it and shaped it.
More details

It is in going all around the small villages of Cabrières d’Aigues, La Motte d’Aigues, Peypin d’Aigues, coiled up at the foot of the Luberon mountain, that you will come across the Protestant temples, sole remains of this Waldensian heritage and the main witnesses of this massacred people.

Memorial plaques with explanations will help you along the way and guide you towards the village of Lourmarin and further away to Mérindol where you’ll be able to visit “La Muse”, an authentic museum dedicated to the memory of the Waldensians. Hide the text
