It is a quiet paved road that will take you to the statue of "the man who walks and reads." - Turn left into the pines to the summit. - Discover the Holy Cross Chapel, a building with a single nave and apse semi-circular cul-de-four. Enjoy the view over the village and the southern Alps. - Down a small path to reach the D198. You made 4 km. You can stop there or continue to do the Tour de Pierredon (6km more). - Get the D42 for 50m, and stay on your right, continue straight ahead and cross the 700m flag "Saint Marcel." - Pass the flag to the mill, just after, mount left by the BD101 to join "the plains" as you turn left. - Continue on the shelf for 1km and take a right to Acacia. Again on the asphalt, turn left and descend to the village via St Gervais, to use the term "go" to the parking lot.
